Medical Gas Systems Familiarisation Training

MedCom Engineering acknowledges the need for Client / Staff Training especially in the initial phase of taking possession of a new building / new systems. To this end, we offer tailored / cost effective training packages to meet Client Budgets and to provide the Client / staff with the benefit of having trained competent personnel on site working with and alongside pressurised gas systems.

Training packages are designed for anyone involved in the use, handling, storage or transportation of compressed gas cylinders and are essential for all managers, supervisors, inspectors and personnel who work with gases and oxygen-fuel equipment.

Areas generally covered include, but are not limited to:

  • Gas Cylinder Safe Management / Handling
    We can offer a number of workshops and packages designed for personnel involved in the use, handling, storage or transportation of compressed gas cylinders. These workshops are open to gas users from small, medium and large organisations and can be held on Client or MedCom Engineering premises (as preferred)
  • Medical Gases Safety Workshop
    This workshop is designed to help Medical / Portering staff improve their knowledge and awareness of compressed medical gases used within their particular working environment
  • Laboratory Gases Safety Workshop
    This workshop is designed to help laboratory staff improve their knowledge and awareness of compressed gases used within their particular working environment
  • In-House Safety Training
    MedCom Engineering offers a selection of safety training courses that can be specifically tailored to different gases and the environments they are used. The training will be held on Clients premises. The benefit of this option is that it is a cost effective and less disruptive process than removing staff from the workplace.
